This product contains ferrous ascorbate and folic acid which are used together to treat the low level of iron that may be caused due to anemia or during pregnancy. They also improve the absorption iron in the stomach. it also has other functions like rapid cell division, erythropoiesis.

Ferrous Ascorbate is an iron preparation or supplement which is indicated to treat iron deficiency. It has other property immune-enhancing, anticarcinogenic and cognition improving.

Folic acid is known as vitamin B9 and belongs to the vitamin B family. It involves as cofactor in various processes such as in purine and pyrimidine synthesis It also helps in DNA and RNA synthesis.

Ferrous Ascorbate: The iron present in the preparation results in the production of haemoglobin and treats the deficiency of iron.
Folic acid is reduced to dihydrofolate and tetrahydrofolate cofactors by the enzyme dihydrofolate reductase and thus it maintains erythropoiesis and synthesis of purine and pyrimidine synthesis.
